“Even though we didn’t qualify as well as we wanted, our truck was really good in the draft and we were just riding comfortably inside the top-15.
“I saw the accident start to happen, but it all unraveled so quickly that trucks began to go everywhere, and I just became a victim of circumstances.
“The guys on the Niece Motorsports team did their best to get the truck repaired, but we suffered some electrical problems late in the race and could never get back on the track. It’s a shame, because I thought we had a shot at another top-10 if not top-five run.
“We’ll move on and go to Martinsville and see what we can do.”
