Justin Fontaine Quote: “We had to work hard for that top-15 finish.
“I think the heat threw a curveball at a lot of the teams and unfortunately we just struggled to get the grip we needed with our No. 45 ProMATIC Automation Chevrolet from practice to qualifying and even throughout the race.
“Despite our struggles, we never gave up. We kept working on it and kept making changes and eventually the truck came around and we were able to avoid the late race chaos to put ourselves in a good position at the end of the race.
“The finish was a positive step forward after an up and down summer and I’m looking forward to building on this effort at Talladega next month. It will be another new track for me, but I see the race as a perfect opportunity to earn another top-10 finish for my Niece Motorsports team.”
