HOMETOWN: MARTINSBURG, WV | DOB: JUNE 14, 1995
Christian Rose grew up in Martinsburg, West Virginia with aspirations of becoming a professional racecar driver. His unique path to driving, however, took form after completing a successful career as a pitcher in college baseball.
Rose attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he played Division 1 baseball. Among some of his playing accolades, Rose was enshrined into the university’s Wall of Fame for his baseball achievements in 2022. He later graduated with honors and a degree in hospitality, before embarking on his journey into racing.
Beginning in the Super Late Model ranks from 2018-2020, Rose competed in weekly shows at some of the southeast’s most iconic short tracks – Hickory Motor Speedway, New Smyrna Speedway, and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Rose drove for NASCAR veterans BJ McLeod and Mike Skinner at the start of his career.
In 2021, Rose tried his hand at the ARCA Menards Series West, driving for Cook Racing Technologies. In just two West starts, Rose went on to earn two top-10 finishes that year – first at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring and later at All American Speedway.
2022 saw Rose make his ARCA Menards Series national debut, a series he would go on to compete in a partial schedule, in tandem with the ARCA Menards Series East. Rose produced his first ARCA top-10 result at Kansas Speedway, and wrapped up the East season with a seventh-place points finish after securing top-10s at Five Flags Speedway and Dover Motor Speedway.
After the completion of his part-time ARCA schedule, Rose was picked up by AM Racing to compete full-time as a rookie beginning in 2023. That year would see the West Virginian vie for the series championship, picking up 13 top-10 finishes along with his first top-five at Salem Speedway, where he finished third. Rose drove to a third-place result in the championship points standings following his second top-five in the season finale at Toledo Speedway.
Midway through 2023, Rose signed a deal which saw him enter two NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races for AM Racing at Richmond Raceway and Phoenix Raceway. At Phoenix, Rose finished on the lead lap in 16th.
Continuing his ARCA campaign in 2024, Rose built upon past success with his second-consecutive top-five points finish in his sophomore season. The year started off strong with a fourth-place showing at Daytona, and he went on to grab two more top-fives at Talladega Superspeedway and Salem Speedway. With 10 top-10s by the year’s end, Rose was prepared to rise to the next level.
In 2025, Rose joins Niece Motorsports for his first full-time season of Truck Series competition. He will drive the team’s No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST as he competes for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors.
