Ross Chastain on Racing at Dover: “It feels like forever since I’ve beenin one of these trucks, and I’m ready to go. Dover is definitely a challenging track, but it’s one that I’ve alwaysenjoyed. This Niece Motorsports team hasbeen working hard all season long, so I know we’ll have another strong truckfor Friday’s race.”
Chastain at Dover: Chastain has three NASCAR GanderOutdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) starts at Dover International Speedway. He’s qualified no lower than 12thin those three starts and has finished in the top-20 in all three starts aswell.
In addition,Chastain has made eight NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at the ‘Monster Mile’,finishing inside the top-20 on six occasions.
Chastain alsohas four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts at Dover InternationalSpeedway.
On the Truck: The No. 45 Chevrolet will carrythe Florida Watermelon Association (FWA) colors at Dover International Speedway.
Chastain is an eighth-generation farmer and a spokespersonfor the Watermelon and entire Agriculture industry. Chastain’s familyowns and maintains a 400-acre watermelon farm in Florida.
TheFWA was formed to enable growers and marketers of the Florida watermelon industryto unite. Organized membership allowsthe association to promote the consumption of watermelons grown in Florida. The FWA assists its members in the growing andmarketing of watermelons. The FloridaWatermelon Queen scholarship program was established in 1968 to assist theassociation in promotional efforts. Thequeen helps boost sales of Florida grown watermelon by engaging the public atnumerous events, and will also be in attendance at the ‘Monster Mile’ thisweekend.
